E-mail Marketing

Permission based e-mail marketing, is a method of advertising via e-mail whereby the recipient of the advertisement has consented to receive it. This method is one of several developed by marketeers to eliminate the disadvantages of email marketing. At Lexiconnect we believe that this is the most appropriate method to promote your message by this type of media. Intended recipients must have "opted in" to receive additional information. The information supplied must be of a high quality in text and artwork.

E-mail Marketing & Best Practise

In 2002 the European Union introduced the Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications. Article 13 of the Directive prohibits the use of email addresses for marketing purposes. The Directive establishes the opt-in regime, where unsolicited emails may be sent only with prior agreement of the recipient. In effect the "permission based" marketing method is the optimum system to implement.

  • Consider e-mail marketing as an integrated system with Social Media
  • HTML e-mails allow for integration with website development
  • Implement an e-mail tracking system for campaign success management
  • Create a 12 month plan and stick to it with regularity and consistent quality

All activities are supported by our unique Internet Key Performance Indicator system, which monitors financial metrics and your return on investment. An ongoing relationship model is also deployed which means we would work together for a minimum of 12 months as joint owners of the Internet Strategy.
