GRP is a light, durable and astonishingly tough constructional material, which can be fabricated into all manner of products. GRP is cost effective in the long term, because it is corrosive resistant and maintenance free. During the manufacturing of the canopy a layer of gel resin is laid onto the mould which leaves the product with a smooth aesthetically pleasing gel coat finish. Sheets of glass fibre matting are then layered over and coated with a special resin. The mixture is then left to cure naturally or for quicker results is placed in an oven.
